Email feedback@theavailability.app and a human will reply — usually within a day. The Feedback row inside the app attaches the diagnostics we need.
Getting started
Where is Availability in Messages?
Open any conversation, tap the + button next to the text field, and choose Availability. If you don’t see it, scroll the app list or tap More and switch it on.
Why does it need calendar access?
To hide times you’re busy. Availability only reads busy/free intervals on your device; event titles, notes, and attendees are never sent anywhere. You choose which calendars count as conflicts in the app.
Do recipients need the app?
No. With iMessage they pick a time right inside the bubble. Anyone else gets a simple web page at theavailability.app — no sign-up, no email address required.
Booking
The times I offered changed.
That’s by design. If something lands on your calendar after you send, the offered times update so nobody can book over it.
Someone booked but nothing appeared on my calendar.
Open the Availability app once — it writes confirmed bookings to the calendar you chose in Settings. Check that calendar is still on your iPhone and allows changes.
How do I cancel an invitation I sent?
Tap the message bubble you sent and choose Cancel. Recipients will see that the invitation is no longer available.
Why does a link say the availability has expired?
Invitations expire at the end of the date window you sent, or when you cancel them. Send a fresh one from Messages.
Account & data
Availability has no accounts or passwords. Your identity is tied to the install on your phone. Deleting the app removes your local data; invitations you sent expire on their own. To have server-side booking records removed sooner, email us from the app.
